India observes National Safety Day on March 4th annually, to commemorate the foundation of the National Safety Council which was set up by the Ministry of Labour, Government of India (GOI) on 4th March, 1966 to generate, develop and sustain a voluntary movement on Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) at the national level.
Today we want to also spotlight the need to focus on psychological safety and mental wellbeing at the workplace, the need for legislation and policy to support systems that boost mental health at work.
