As January is Mentoring Month, observed in the US and in the trail of International Mentoring Day, we wanted to spotlight on to how good mentoring can have a positive impact on workplace wellbeing. We believe that a strong mentorship programme at the workplace can bring in a sense of solidarity, encouragement and can support an employee navigating work days and growth pathways. Sharing one’s wealth of experience can add greatly to the mentee’s perspective and also bring in a sense of meaning to the experience of the mentor.
A great mentor will also always be able to stay on pulse with employee morale and energy, and may be a good lead into timely responses and supportive intervention.
